PROUX is a Tijuana-based independent artist blending Future Funk and House, or working as a producer for indie-pop and regional music to create a nostalgic, genre-defying sound. His debut LP Back By Popular Demand has garnered over 5 million plays across platforms and is regarded as a pivotal release in the Nu-Disco, French House, Vaporwave and Future Funk scene.

Since 2012, PROUX has collaborated with labels such as Catuss Records and Montaime, while working with prominent names like Macross 82-99, FIBRE, and Mexican indie-pop artists George Rhoads, KNYA, and Eidan. His music has been featured on renowned channels like Artzie Music and Funky Panda.

In 2025, he released FUNK AROUND II, a punchier sequel to the original EP, exploring club-driven arrangements while keeping the funk futuristic. Earlier that same year, a 2023 edit of his track Funk Express made for Bomb Rush Cyberfunk was picked up by the official PlayStation Plus Spotify playlist, bringing new attention to his work.
